The New Mexico Registered Veterinary Technician Association is honored to present the NMRVTA Scholarship. The association has dedicated $1000 to this scholarship to be given to a Veterinary Technician student.

The eligible Veterinary Technology student must:

• Be a New Mexico resident
• Be a student in good standing and moving forward in an AVMA accredited
  Veterinary Technology Program
• Must provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor or the Program
  Director
• Have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (please provide unofficial transcripts)
• Write an essay of 500 – 1,000 words answering the following question:
  • Why do you deserve this scholarship?
