RVTs, non-RVT ‘technicians’ and staff not attending the October 21st meeting but wishing to obtain 2018 membership will have available discounted membership fees of $15 if paid by Oct 31, 2016. After that date the regular fee of $20 will apply, due January 1, 2016.
Annual dues if not attending Oct CE: RVT, non-RVT ‘technician’ & staff $20 per year
Current veterinary technology program students $5.00 per year

All RVTS and veterinary support staff interested in supporting our association are welcome to join. This includes veterinary assistants, hospital managers, and current veterinary technology students.
Membership in the NMRVTA means representation at all NMBVM and NMVMA meetings.Quarterly newsletters and discounts for CE at the annual NMRVTA CE and business meeting. Several local businesses have generously given discounts to our members. Those businesses will be listed on the back of the membership card. Membership in the NMRVTA can also be a great networking opportunity. Members love what they do and are greatly interested in meeting other members and sharing ideas.
This is your organization. Any interest in writing an article for the newsletter, holding an officer position or volunteering to help with organizing a meeting is very welcome.
shall be offered to all Registered Veterinary Technicians of New Mexico.
An Associate Membership shall be offered all Para- Professionals currently employed for at least six consecutive months at a New Mexico licensed veterinary facility. Associate Members shall be permitted to vote and serve on committees and to receive continuing education benefits, but shall not be able to hold the office of President or President-Elect.
If the applicant meets the requirements of the Association, he or she shall be accepted for membership upon payment of one year’s dues to the Treasurer and shall be considered a member in good standing.
All members in good standing may take part in discussions, debates and voting.

Student membership shall be offered to any fulltime, actively enrolled student in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary Technology Program, or in a New Mexico veterinary assistant program. Student members shall be permitted to vote and serve on committees and receive continuing education benefits, but they shall not hold any elected office.
